From old to new

Did someone say fun!

Mike loves the chickens and wants to feed

them at the end of the day. They just follow

him around. It's fun to watch.

Karen just enjoys being around the Grandkids.

Nic and Grant got to spend the evening with

Grandma.

James and Karen got to rake and shovel 16 yards of

gravel to finish off the drive and parking at home.

It looks good. Anything is fun when you

are with James.

Elise just enjoyed the piles of rocks while she could.

Aunt Donna took the kids for a ride.

You can't have more fun than that.

Time is spent watching Keana play her soccor games.

She is the one controlling the ball. She is good!

Dallas loves to dig. Whether it is rock, dirt, mulch.

Just what ever.

Kameha has fun where ever she goes.

Lydia, Dallas and Elise love to jump.

See the shed in the background? I will talk about

that more later. Just remember it.

The dogs had as much fun as the kids.

Bubbles bubbles everywhere.

Ok, Look at the shed in the background. Yuck! Old, no roof, no sides in places, tilting.......

Doesn't it look great! It is now straightened, all in closed, 2 real nice storage rooms, car port.....

The inside is done and is now in use. We just need to finish the outside before winter sets in. Although here it is winter. (Nov.) But winter isn't really here yet. Shorts, Tee shirts sandals. Even the nights aren't cold. No heater on yet.
Thanks Mike and James!

Wen and Becky came to visit us this week. We had such a good time with them.
It was a short visit but there was lots of fun packed into the time we had. We went to see Mike at work and take a tour of the ranch. Nice place. Then the next day we went to Washington on the Brazos. There is an old farm area there where the people dress up in the time period. This was in the 1800's and it was so fun to see and gain info from that era. As I said the stay wasn't long but at least we got to see them and visit. The day they left the equipment started to come in and land scraping started to commence.

oops, got it twice.

Thanks for your visit.

It's about time!!!

OK, I know that you have been waiting for this for quite some time.
I kind of forgot about it. I have showed you all the outside of you new
place but I wanted to get the inside decorated before I took pictures
of the inside. It still isn't done all the way. There are 4 bedrooms that
are not here. But you get the idea.

It is kind of strange to have chickens just roaming around
outside. I must say that I am kind of excited though. They
have started laying now. We have 20 chickens now and 3 are laying.
Yum, Yum!
I don't live a real exciting life, don't take tons of pictures so I have nothing else to share.
Bye!

Update!

I just thought you might like to see how big
my two grandson's are here in Texas. Plus
if you go to Chris and Jamie's blog you can see how
big Jagger is. Boy, they grow fast.
Grant

Miss Keana got knighted into school this year.
It was fun to watch.

Oops, I got it sideways. Anyway, Donna and I made this cape for
her. It was to display what she likes.

Here they are!

I got some pictures now, so I can share with you. I am sure you have looked at Chris and Jamie's blog to see our cute little guy. But I still wanted to share a little.

When we were in Utah, Jamie took some cute pictures of all of us at the park. It was so fun.
How cute is that!!!!

Oh wait! No, How cute is this!!!

Oh wait, you just can't get any better than being a GRANDMA!
Right, all you grandma's?

Jagger

Here is just a little random piece of info. Our 25 chickens are dwindling
quickly. One, the others were picking on and so we gave her to Wayne and Cindy.
Then, I think one was running in the back yard and stepped into a crack.
When it doesn't rain here for awhile the ground gets these huge cracks.
Anyway it broke it's leg. How sad is that.
And to top it all off, we have a new little kitten. James found it under his car.
She is all black and he has named her Pepper. We really like her but she is still afraid of the chickens so she hides under the shed a lot.

Good times are had by all!

OK, I screwed up again. Start at the bottom and work your way up!
We left on Sunday morning. It was hard to say good-bye! On our way home we stopped in Denver to say hi to John and Tammy and Tanner. We only spent the evening and left for home the following morning but it was great to see them.

Chris made the record of under 10 seconds to go up and slide down the big slide. Wow!

Then we went to Jumping Jacks with the kids. We had so much fun watching them have fun.

Jen and family came to see us on Friday and on the Saturday before we left we all went to Provo to meet up with Wen and Becky, Dave and Mary Ann and Darla. We ate and had a great visit. We miss you already!

I was there for 2 weeks. We played, and worked and visited but most of all enjoyed. Doesn't Jamie look good for just having a baby! Mike came to visit in the last week.

Here is the only picture I have of him right now. Cute, what you can see of him.

Here is the cute couple right before Jagger was born. I don't have any pictures of him right now because we used Jamies camera instead and I haven't got those pictures yet. Look on Chris and Jamies blog and you will see such a cute baby. Jagger Mikel Knudsen born on July 26th. I will post pictures when I get them.

Jen picked us up from the airport and I made it to the hospital with 10 min. to spare.

Thanks for working with me. I can't believe I do this almost every time.
To start out with Charles and I went to Utah, Charles to go home to Mom and I was to go to Chris and Jamie's to help with the kids while she had her baby.

Fun in July!

Chris and Jamie, this is for you! How do you like it???
(They gave this tie to Mike for Fathers Day!)
I just want you to know that once my baby, always my baby!
I sure love my kids!
(Karen and Cindy)
We have 23 Chickens now.
Here is Dallas with one of the baby birds.
  • Wayne told us about a woman who wanted to get rid of a coop so Mike went and got it. He did new things inside but the out side is the same.Hay, it works, right! Here is Karen and her beloved dog.

Who would of thunk!

Part of the klan watching fireworks that Chad was setting off.

Well, as you can tell, John and Tammy and Tanner

came to visit for a week. Tanner is just doing a little dance cuz

he is so happy we are going to San Antonio.

Elise and Dallas are just chilling until everyone is

out of the car and ready to go, here at the Alamo.

O.K. I think we are ready. On your mark get set......GO!

We met up with Tracy and are in line for the Alamo.

4th of July weekend was kind of busy.

How many people can you get in an elevator?

I know you can't see us all but we got us all.

That's a lot!

Here we are on the river walk boat.

Dallas and Elise and Karen can't wait for it to get started.

Mike and Karen and John, Tammy and Tanner stayed over night

and everyone else went home.

The next day we went to Sea World.

What fun we had there!

Tanner was waiting for the seals to do tricks.

I don't know which he liked better though, the seals or the sucker.

We went into a movie there that was 4D about pirates.

It was a hot day and it was cool inside.

We sure enjoyed our time with everyone.

Oh by the way, John and Tammy shared a little secret with us

which isn't a secret anymore.

Tammy is pregnant!

Due December 31.

We are all so happy for them.

This sweet grandbaby will be # 14 for us.

We love our grandkids.
